Details test and examination criteria for integral gasvalve type and electric type thermostats which are used asintegral parts of gas-burning appliances. It presents minimumlevels for the substantial and durable construction, safe operation and acceptable performance for such thermostats.The standard does not apply to wall-mounted thermostats forcomfort heating control.
