Details test and examination criteria for automatic valves, which may be individual automatic vales or valves, utilized as pars of automatic gas ignition systems. This standard also applies to commercial/industrial safety shutoff valves. This standard applies to automatic valves having maximum operating gas pressure ratings of 1/2, 2, and 5 psi (3.5, 13.8, and 34.5 kPa) or higher than 5 psi (34.5 kPa) in 5 psi (34.5 kPa) increments up to an including a maximum operating pressure of 60 psi (413.7 kPa)
