This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of the California Urban Water Conservation Council (CUWCC) and the project purpose that includes:estimate the dollar value of the environmentalbenefits of reduced consumption of "rawwater";build a spreadsheet model to be used by waterutilities;theoretically sound and practical to use bysmall and large water utilities in California; express Environmental Benefits as acomponent of avoided cost calculation; and,interact with Avoided Cost model. Project background included:Council Signatories agree to implement allBest Management Practices that are locallycost-effective;cost effective means the present value ofexpected benefits exceeds the present value ofproject costs; and,quantify Environmental Benefits within theContext of the Council's MOU.
