Journal AWWA - Rights and Liabilities of Water Suppliers Arising From Groundwater Pollution
Journal Article by American Water Works Association, 04/01/1981
Selig, Edward I.
Full Description
To avoid troubles stemming from groundwater contamination, water suppliers should test for priority toxic pollutants and learn the waste disposal practices and groundwater flow systems of their watersheds. Strategies useful in maintaining a healthy drinking water supply include reduction of pumping rates, demands for land-use controls in critical recharge zones, and lawsuits for damages and injunctions against upstream sources of contamination.
