Full Description
A combination of alum and a high-molecular-weight, weakly charged cationic polymer produced the most effective removals of total organic carbon and turbidity, reduced the volume of sludge produced when compared with alum alone, and accomplished these objectives at reduced costs. The results reported in this paper are based on laboratoryscale batch or jar tests. Includes 4 references, tables, figures.
