Full Description
The impetus provided by the Water Pollution Control Act PL92-500, coupled with the new requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act, has spurred the development and implementation of new technologies for sludge disposal. Among the more promising new methods described here are alum reclamation, recalcining, and the use of alternate coagulants. Includes 1 reference, figures.
