This method provides for the quantitativedetermination of DCOI preservative in treated wood. Themethodology requires utilization of High PerformanceLiquid Chromatography (HPLC) with ultraviolet (UV)detection.

The method is applicable to the determination ofDCOI in wood samples in the form of sawdust or shavings.
